Caring for the environment is part of our routine, and is present both in the process of creating our products and in the company's internal decisions. We've brought you some of the sustainable actions Jaguar has taken to inspire you:
Sustainability at Rock in Rio
In 2019, Jaguar took part in an action in partnership with Heineken and Natura. The 10 tons of plastic used to serve beer at the festival were recycled and became 670,000 caps for the Natura Humor line.
Sustainability in the São Silvestre race
During the 95th São Silvestre International Race in 2019, the water cups distributed were transformed into 900 kits with two 93L garbage cans each, one for recyclable waste and the other for organic waste. The project, in partnership with Jaguar Transforma, donated the products to public schools and sports halls in São Carlos and Jaguariúna, São Paulo.
Internal waste management
Committed to sustainability and the future of the next generations, Jaguar Plásticos invests in the concepts of reduction, reuse and recycling:
- Reduce environmental impacts throughout the production process.
- Promote efficient processes throughout the chain, in line with international standards, starting from eco-design in the design of new products.
- Preserving and consciously use natural resources.
Thermoplastics in bucket production
Jaguar Embalagens' industrial buckets are made of thermoplastic. As well as meeting ABNT standards and being resistant to impacts and stacking, they transform into liquid form when subjected to high temperatures. This makes it possible for the material to be heated and melted several times, making it easier to remodel and recycle.
Jaguar Utilities Eco Nature Line
The Eco Nature line uses sustainable raw materials and innovates by providing a complete mix of cleaning and laundry products associated with sustainability, turning products that would otherwise be discarded into new opportunities and contributing to a better, more sustainable world.
That's why choosing a Jaguar product is choosing sustainability! Tell us in the comments: what sustainable choices are part of your routine?
